Globaltech Corporation is expanding the commercial leadership of its Center of Excellence with the appointment of Muhammad Umer Javed as Chief Portfolio Officer (CPO), strengthening the bridge between technology development and market execution.
Umer is a technology and business leader with more than 25 years of experience in AI innovation, digital transformation, and enterprise application development. He turns complex technology roadmaps into commercial results, pairing business planning and digital strategy with hands-on leadership of large-scale enterprise delivery and disciplined go-to-market execution. He has delivered more than 70 enterprise projects in Pakistan and internationally, working with government bodies, private-sector organizations, and development partners including the World Bank, UNDP, ADB, and USAID.
As Chief Portfolio Officer, his mandate sits at a critical point in the CoE model: shaping technology opportunities into focused portfolios with clear pathways to market. This includes portfolio prioritization, commercial alignment, go-to-market planning and translating long-term technology vision into measurable business outcomes.
The appointment complements the CoE’s technical leadership with a strong technology & commercialization lens. The Center of Excellence remains a Globaltech capability, operating within an ecosystem supported by WorldCall Telecom Limited’s infrastructure and connectivity environment.
That distinction is central to the model. Globaltech brings technology development, portfolio strategy and commercialization capability; WorldCall provides an established operating foundation that can support technology teams and platforms as they develop and scale.
For WTL, the continued build-out of Globaltech’s CoE creates closer access to a technology and commercialization ecosystem that can complement WorldCall’s infrastructure strengths and broader transformation agenda.
